The Utah Valley University women's golf team heads to San Jose, California, for Monday and Tuesday's (Oct. 31-Nov. 1) SCU Colby Invitational. The tournament, which will be contested at the Silver Creek Valley Country Club, will mark UVU's final event of the fall season.

Two rounds of the two-day, 54-hole event will be contested on Monday, while the final 18 holes will be played on Tuesday. Competition begins at 9:15 a.m. MT, each day with a shotgun start. The Silver Creek Valley Country Club will be played at 6,181 yards and par will be set at 72.

Seven teams will compete at the two-day tournament. Besides the Wolverines and host Santa Clara Broncos, CSU Bakersfield, CSUN, IUPUI, Montana State and Weber State will also take part in the event.

UVU enters off a 10th-place finish (out of 15 teams) at Seattle U's Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational on Oct. 10-11, with a 55-over-par 919 (317-300-302). The 55-over 919 marked the third-best 54-hole team score in school history and the second round 12-over 300 tied the fifth-best single-round score in program history.

Sophomore Ana Raga led the way for the Wolverines at the PLH Invite by tying for 21st place with a 10-over 226 (71-74-81). Raga's 10-over-par 226 tied for the ninth-best 54-hole score in UVU history.

Fellow sophomore Carly Dehlin was next for UVU by tying for 27th with a 12-over 228 (81-72-75), while freshman Justine Lauer too had a solid outing by tying for 35th place with a 15-over 231 (82-77-72).
