The vice presidential candidates are set to debate each other on a national stage tonight in Virgina.
Democratic Sen. Tim Kaine, of Virginia, will battle Republican Gov. Mike Pence, of Indiana, at Longwood University in the first and only televised debate between the two.
The debate will be moderated by CBS News correspondent Elaine Quijano. According to the Associated Press, the debate will have nine segments of approximately 10 minutes each. The candidates are given two minutes each to respond to an opening question on a topic, followed by potentially deeper discussion and questions moderated by Quijano.
