A Polish ad released last week shows a grandfather sacrificing time and effort to give his granddaughter one of the most precious gifts available: the ability to communicate.
In the ad, the protagonist, an elderly Polish man, orders a book titled "English for Beginners" and practices reciting English words and phrases in preparation for his trip to England.
After greeting his son and daughter-in-law, the man kneels down to talk with his granddaughter and in perfect English says, "Hi, I am your grandpa."
The ad is for "Allegro," a Polish online auction platform similar to eBay.
