Pilots with the Utah Wing of Angel Flight West filled 16 aircraft with 7,000 pounds of toys, school supplies, books, backpacks and warm clothing for the Title I schoolchildren. The items were gathered by 16 Boy Scouts as part of their Eagle Scout service projects. Since the first Santa Flight in 2000, members of the Utah Wing have worked with communities to gather needed supplies and toys, and deliver them to Title I schools in rural communities throughout Utah.
