A pianist and R2-D2 filled a desert with music from the Star Wars film franchise.
Jarrod Radnich, a classical pianist, performed his piano solo arrangement of John Williams’ “Star Wars: Fantasy Suite Movement No. 2” in a YouTube video posted in December 2015.
According to his website, Radnich began teaching piano professionally at age 11. At 14, he received a full scholarship to Berklee School of Music, and at 16, he received a full scholarship to the University of Redlands.
The Piano Guys, a Utah-based music group, produced Radnich’s first videos, including a “Pirates of the Caribbean” piano solo that has over 15 million views.
Radnich has also performed other popular arrangements, such as "Hedwig's Theme" from Harry Potter, “Don’t Stop Believin’” and “Bohemian Rhapsody.”
