During a visit to Utah Friday, Vice President Joe Biden met with leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Mormon Newsroom reported that the vice president met with Elder D. Todd Christofferson and Elder Ronald A. Rasband of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and Elder Gordon H. Smith of the Seventy, who is a former U.S. senator.
Church leaders presented Biden with his family history.
Biden is in Utah to meet with experts at the Huntsman Cancer Institute about an initiative to cure cancer.
