Tanner Mangum and Alexa Gray have become two of the more successful athletes at BYU, with Mangum excelling during his freshman year in 2015 as the Cougars' quarterback and Gray starring on the volleyball court as the school's all-time kills leader in the rally scoring era.
On Friday morning, Gray announced via Instagram that the two, who have been dating for a number of months, are engaged to be married.
About an hour after Gray broke the news, Mangum took to Twitter to also announce it.
While Gray's career in Provo is complete, Mangum will begin spring football next Monday.
