Ten contestants stood on the “American Idol” stage awaiting to hear which six would advance to the Top 10. Jenn Blosil never heard her name.
A YouTube video from the Thursday episode of “American Idol” shows which contestants made the Top 10. Following the Wednesday episode, viewers voted on who they wanted to see in the Top 10 on the final season of the show.
The voting results revealed four eliminations, including Utah native Blosil.
Blosil, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, uploaded a Periscope video to Facebook after the show to express her gratitude.

“Thank you for wanting to be a part of my life,” Blosil said in the video. “That means so much to me. The amount of support and kindness I’ve received really does mean so much. It’s been an incredible experience.”
