Freshmen Ana Raga and Carly Dehlin are leading the way for the Utah Valley University women's golf team after two rounds of play at the Sacramento State Invitational, as the duo sits in a tie for 37th place out of 80 competitors.

Raga and Dehlin are tied for 37th after each carding identical 13-over-par 157s on Monday at the Sierra View Country Club. Raga put up scores of 77 and 80 en route to her 157, while Dehlin carded a 78 and a 79.

Seniors Kalea Heu and Cassandra Lesa are next for UVU, as they are tied for 47th place at 16-over par (160). Heu carded a pair of 80s on the way to her 160, while Lesa put up a 77 and an 83. Junior Kimberly Nyhus rounds out Utah Valley's field of five at the two-day tournament, sitting a stroke back of Heu and Lesa at 17-over (79-82—161).

Lesa led the Wolverines on the day in birdies with five, including four during Monday's opening round.

As a team, the Wolverines sit in 12th place out of 15 teams with a 36-hole score of 632 (+56) with scores of 315 and 317 on Monday.

San Francisco leads the tournament at 18-over par (594), while Santa Clara sits in second with a 301 and Nevada is in third (606).

The Sacramento State Invite concludes on Tuesday with the tournament's final round. Nyhus will be the first Wolverine to tee off on Tuesday at 8:43 a.m. PT. To follow live scoring of the event, visit GolfStat.
