Lucia Lobo reaches for an egg at the annual Easter egg hunt at Shriners Hospital for Children — Salt Lake City on Wednesday. Each year the hospital treats patients and their siblings to its annual Spring Fest, which includes the Easter egg hunt. Because some patients won’t be home for Easter and others can’t participate in community egg hunts due to physical limitations, Wednesday's event gave children the space, time and support they needed to enjoy the springtime tradition. The hospital's Spring Fest also featured baby farm animals, crafts, snacks, face painting and the chance to socialize with peers facing similar physical challenges.
