Fishing reels are displayed at the new Cabela's in Farmington on Tuesday. The 70,000-square-foot store, scheduled to open Thursday, April 21, is located at 391 N. Cabela’s Drive in the newly planned Park Lane Commons development adjacent to Station Park. The grand opening will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9:45 a.m., and the doors will open for business at 10 a.m. Opening day will kick off a weekend-long celebration highlighted by special appearances, family events, giveaways, sales and more. A schedule of events is available at www.cabelas.com/stores. Upon opening, the Farmington outlet will become Cabela’s second retail location in Utah, joining the Lehi store that opened in 2005.
