Tonight, Imagine Dragons will return to one of the venues that launched its career, but that is not the only news from the band.
An audio-only YouTube video uploaded Friday gives listeners an opportunity to hear a new song from Imagine Dragons, “Not Today.”
"Not Today" is the first song released by the band in 2016. It is part of the soundtrack for the upcoming movie “Me Before You.”
“Me Before You” (rated PG-13) comes to theaters June 3. The movie, based on the novel by Jojo Moyes, tells the story of William Traynor. After a motorcycle accident leaves Traynor paralyzed, Louisa Clark cares for him and develops a special bond with him.
Utah is the birthplace of Imagine Dragons. In 2008, the band won the Battle of the Bands competition at Brigham Young University.
Tonight, the band, as well as another band with Utah roots, Neon Trees, returns to the Velour Live Music Gallery in Provo to play at a benefit concert. The bands hope to raise money for Corey Fox, the owner of the venue, who needs a kidney transplant.
