Elder Gary E. Stevenson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles sent out his first tweets this week. One tweet from Elder Stevenson showed a 10-year-old who played the piano at a conference he attended in Macau, China.

Following the sessions of the 186th Annual General Conference, general authorities posted on Facebook about the talks they gave. In addition to their posts, members shared their thoughts on social media.

Tanner Mangum, a quarterback on the football team at Brigham Young University, tweeted about Elder Jeffrey R. Holland’s talk in general conference.

Al Fox Carraway, an LDS blogger known as “The Tattooed Mormon” posted a photo on Instagram about how knowing there is a prophet changed her life.

Marie Osmond, an LDS entertainer, shared image quotes from conference on Twitter.

Lindsey Stirling, an LDS musician known for dancing while playing the violin, posted on Twitter saying she was watching conference.

Coinciding with the series finale of “American Idol,” BuzzFeed compiled quotes from 58 former “American Idol” contestants about what the show means to them. The list included two Mormons who competed on the show: Jon Peter Lewis and Brooke White.

David Archuleta, an LDS musician, returned to “American Idol” for the series finale and posted a picture with musician Jordin Sparks on Facebook.
