Today, Kendra Lowe and Nik Day released the official music video for a song titled “Rescue Me.” "Rescue Me" is the theme song for Operation Underground Railroad, a nonprofit organization that works to save children from sex trafficking.

The release of the music video coincides with the one-night theatrical release of “The Abolitionists,” a documentary about Operation Underground Railroad's efforts. The documentary, which screened at the 2016 LDS Film Festival, will be shown May 16 at 7:30 p.m. local time in select theaters. Fifteen percent of ticket proceeds go directly to saving children.

“'The Abolitionists' features undercover footage from rescue operations around the world, including action-packed, high-risk operations and tender moments of liberating at-risk children," according to the Fathom Events website. "Go behind the scenes as Ballard and his team of highly trained operatives risk their own lives to free innocent children from trafficking, an epidemic that has become the world’s fastest growing crime, with over 27 million people enslaved — nearly 2 million of them children."

The YouTube music video includes clips from the film presented by FletChet Entertainment and Operation Underground Railroad.

“Kendra Lowe is a composer, singer, touring performer and studio musician with perfect pitch,” according to the biography on Lowe’s website. Now, the Provo native is working as the musical director, arranger and pianist for singer Lexi Walker, and she recently joined David Archuleta in his performances in Croatia.

“Based out of Salt Lake City, Nik Day is a contemporary Christian artist who writes music about having a personal relationship with God. … He writes for the Mutual Theme and EFY albums, and he produces music and does video projects,” according to the biography on Day’s website.
