Utah State offensive lineman Tyshon Mosley has been dismissed from the Aggies' football team for a violation of team rules, head coach Matt Wells announced late Sunday night.

The 6-foot-5, 305-pound junior missed the first two games in 2015 due to a suspension for a violation of team rules. He ended up starting nine games at left guard for the Aggies last season and earned honorable mention all-Mountain West honors.

Utah State listed Mosley among its honors candidates in the 2016 spring prospectus. According to the prospectus, he did not allow a sack all last season and had three knockdowns in the Aggies' upset win over Boise State.
