BYU’s Vocal Point recently teamed up with BYUtv’s new show, “Random Acts,” to “positive prank” residents at a retirement home. Disguised as maintenance workers, the members of the a cappella group surprised residents by entering their rooms and singing “Nearer My God to Thee.”
“Now you can probably tell that we are not really maintenance workers,” Lisa Valentine Clark, one of the show’s hosts, said at the conclusion of the performance.
"Random Acts" is a hidden-camera show in which the show’s hosts surprise deserving recipients with acts of kindness. The show airs on BYUtv on Mondays at 8:30 p.m. MDT.
