Ron Craig salutes the flag during a ribbon-cutting and Flag Day ceremony to celebrate the opening of the new Veterans Center at the Davis Applied Technology College in Kaysville on Tuesday. According to academic adviser Dan Czech, the center will provide a streamlined location for veterans to take care of most of their educational needs and help coordinate with the Veterans Affairs on their educational funding. “It is extremely important for veterans to have a one-stop shop for application, enrollment, registration,and course changes,” Czech said in a statement. The flag ceremony was conducted by the American Legion Post 27.
