The Pony Express returned to Utah Sunday. Members of the National Pony Express Association re-create the Pony Express ride each June, using more than 700 riders and horses, riding 24-hours a day over 10 days, covering 1,966 miles. The riders started in Sacramento on Wednesday and will reach St. Joseph, Missouri on June 25, carrying historic vignette letters and personal letters. On Sunday, the riders traveled through Simpson Springs, Fairfield, Murray Park and This Is The Place State Park before heading to Wyoming.
