Former BYU wide receiver Terenn Houk is getting another chance to impress the Chicago Bears brass.
The 6-foot-5 Houk is getting a second look from the Bears as a tight end, his agent confirmed to the Deseret News on Wednesday. After receiving feedback from the team, he's bulked up to 245 pounds — BYU listed him at 225 as a senior — and worked on his skills as a blocker.
Houk, who wasn't selected during the 2016 NFL draft in late April, previously worked out for Chicago during the team's rookie minicamp in May, one week after trying out for San Francisco at its rookie minicamp.

Chicago is bringing back Houk — who has proved he's a strong pass catcher after logging 60 catches for 739 yards and four touchdowns the past two seasons — to see how he's improved as a blocker, according to his agent. He has been working with BYU tight ends coach Steve Clark to improve in that area.
Houk was flying out to Chicago on Wednesday. The Bears are currently participating in organized team activities through Thursday.
If Houk signs with Chicago, he'd re-join another former Cougar, fullback/running back Paul Lasike, who is heading into his second season with the Bears.
