One year ago this week, the Daily Beast featured a world-famous LDS DJ and record producer. Ryan Raddon, known as DJ Kaskade, doesn't fit the stereotype of a typical DJ and lives a different lifestyle than most of his associates.
Because of his faith and beliefs, the father of three chooses not to take part in many of the activities he is surrounded by, such as partying, drinking alcohol and smoking.
"I’m a bit of a freak that way because I’m completely different from what you would think," Raddon told the Daily Beast.
Raddon said he has two modes: "dad" mode and "nightclub guy." Before becoming a DJ, Raddon attended Brigham Young University and served an LDS mission in Japan.
