Peter Bromberg has been selected as the next executive director of the Salt Lake City Public Library, according to a news release. He will begin his position Sept. 12.

Bromberg currently serves as associate director for public services at the Salt Lake County Library Services, according to a news release. He has also served as associate director of Princeton Public Library and assistant director at the South Jersey Regional Library cooperative. He has a master's degree in library and information sciences from Rutgers School of Communication and a bachelor's degree in political science from Rutgers, according to the news release.

The Salt Lake City Public Library consists of a Main Library with seven branches.
