Singer-songwriter Peter Hollens joined forces with over 300 students from an Oregon high school to create, as he said in the music video, “one of the most special videos (he has) ever made.”

This video of the folk song "Homeward Bound" was dedicated to a classmate of the high school students, who had recently died, according to a Facebook post on Hollens' page.

“It was such an incredible feeling to work with these amazing high-schoolers,” Hollens continued. “There was a young girl (in the choir) who had just passed away that week, and this song was by far her favorite. It was the song that she would go around school singing. It kind of ended up being her choir’s song for the whole year. When I reached out, I had no idea, but it ended up being a video that had so much more meaning, which is why this video is dedicated to her.”

Hollens is best known for his a cappella covers and has over 1.4 million subscribers. He has collaborated with many Utah-based YouTube stars and has filmed YouTube videos in Utah.
