A little more than three months before his freshman season is set to begin, BYU forward Yoeli Childs joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

A July 30 Instagram post from sophomore Eric Mika features the two players and a trio of sister missionaries at Childs' baptismal service.

The 6-foot-8, 225-pound Childs will begin his career with the Cougars after a standout prep career at Bingham High School that saw him be named one of the top 50 players in the country by ESPN.
