Stacey Frisk, of the Cache County Humane Society, picks up a puppy that was rescued from overcrowded animal shelters in Louisiana and flown to Salt Lake City International Airport on Thursday. About 70 cats and 50 dogs were airlifted to no-kill shelters in Utah, Oregon and Washington via Wings of Rescue. The recent flooding in Louisiana caused overcrowding at the animal shelters.
