The Five Strings, a St. George group made up of five siblings, returns to YouTube with their newest cover. In their new video, Talisa, Tavia, Tiana, Trevin and Tiarra cover Taylor Swift’s “New Romantics.”
The siblings who range from 7 to 17, collaborated with Southern Utah videographer, Tel Stewart, and LDS music composer/arranger, Ricky Valadez, for an inspiring rendition of Swift’s popular tune. Stewart, who has filmed multiple videos for the Piano Guys, showcases the siblings and Utah’s unique scenery while Valadez joined the group to arrange an exciting arrangement. Throughout the video the melody rotates through the siblings and several impressive aerial shots of Talisa and Tavia passing it between them highlights the video.
In this video all of the siblings show off their talent on the violin as well as providing background vocals. However, the group is also know for their skill on the mandolin, guitar, piano and ukulele as well as dancing.
The Five Strings, which originally hails from Dallas, Texas, have studied under professional musicians in Nashville and have released three albums. The group releases weekly family-friendly content on their YouTube channel where they have over 600,000 views.
