South Salt Lake Fire Capt. Chris Wood joins firefighters from six departments — including the Unified Fire Authority — from across the Salt Lake Valley in a high-rise training session at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy on Tuesday. The session, which was hosted by the Valley Training Alliance, gave the firefighters a chance to practice extinguishing flames in high-rise buildings and build interagency camaraderie.
