LEHI — Luminaria, Thanksgiving Point’s Christmas light show, returns for a second season on Monday.

The display, which features nearly a million holiday lights spread throughout the Ashton Gardens, will run through Dec. 30, from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. It will be closed on Sundays, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Guests will get to enjoy 27 different “beats,” including a 120-foot Christmas tree; a

S’more’s Village filled with intimate fireplaces where families can make their own smores; Reindeer Woods, featuring real reindeer; and the Light of the World Garden, with 15 scenes of bronzed statues from the life of Jesus Christ. Each statue will have theatrical lighting and music.

The experience is a little more than a mile walk around the gardens. Guests are encouraged to bundle up as the weather can be unpredictable.
