SALT LAKE CITY — The Daily Universe asked students at Brigham Young University (and a pair of missionaries) to share what they were grateful for in preparation of last year's Thanksgiving Day.

The question was simple, "What are you grateful for?" The students' answers included some familiar and heartwarming responses.

Most of the students mentioned they were grateful for their families. Other answers included Utah, their faith and their opportunity for an education.

One student was grateful for farmers. Another student was grateful for the diversity in the world. Another was grateful just to have a few days to catch up on his schoolwork.
