Children ride in the St. Vincent de Paul School float in the St. Patrick's Day Parade at The Gateway in Salt Lake City on Saturday. The annual parade is hosted by the Hibernian Society of Utah to celebrate the acceptance, diversity and tradition of Utahns' Irish ancestors. The parade was followed by a taste of live Irish music, dance and cuisine in the grand ballroom of Union Pacific Station at the north end of the open-air shopping center.
