“Now where are you off to?” a mother asks her son as he packs his lunch. “To find God,” he replies. This heartwarming video of a young boy’s journey to find God reminds us that God is found in small acts of kindness.

The director of the video wrote in the video description, “Whether you believe or not, we all can agree that by helping each other, each good act that we do makes this world a brighter place. Let us rise to the occasion and be kinder to each other, to help one another.”

In the video, a little boy shares Twinkies and apple juice with a homeless woman in a park. After coming home, he tells his mom, “God is a woman, mom, and she has the most beautiful smile I’ve ever seen.”

In the next scene, the homeless woman, now smiling, tells a friend, “I just ate Twinkies in the park with God. He’s much younger than I expected.”

Whether it’s sharing Twinkies and apple juice with a homeless person, smiling at a neighbor, donating time or just talking to someone in line at the grocery store, people can find God in the little moments through kindness.
