Utahns in search of the best retired life may want to move to Park City or Price, according to a recent report from SmartAsset.
The report, which recently conducted its third annual study on the best places to retire, found Park City, Price, Nephi, Salt Lake City and Bountiful are the top five Beehive State cities to spend your retirement years.
The survey bases its results on tax friendliness, opportunities for recreational and social activities, and medical care affordability and availability, according to the report.
Park City topped the list because it has the most amount of doctor’s offices per 1,000 people and the highest amount of recreational centers for retirees, too.

No Utah city placed within the top 10 nationally. Naples, Florida, ranked first on the list, ahead of Cumming, Gerogia; Beverly Hills, California; Gig Harbor, Washington; and Media, Pennsylvania.

Once glance at the U.S. map shows Utah leans closer to the “worse” end of the report’s spectrum. Locations in the upper Midwest, the South and the Northeast ranked closer to “better.”

Previous lists give Utah more credit. BankRate.com, for example, ranked Utah at the fourth spot, just below Colorado, South Dakota and Wyoming. It receive high rankings for community well-being and its weather.
According to Forbes, Utah often ranks higher among states for retirees because of its low tax rate.
