Two BYU students made national news this week because of their breakup.

As BuzzFeed reported, Wyatt Hall, 20, and Kirsten Titus, 19, who both attended Brigham Young University, had dated briefly in recent days. They went on creative dates, including one in which they planted a cactus in one of Utah’s mountains.

Titus wanted to stop dating Hall, though, and felt compelled to end their relationship in a creative way.

"I think the both of us we were starting to feel we were better as friends," Titus said. “I thought if I was going to end things with him I wanted to do it in a creative way.”

So she made a Spotify playlist that spelled out the breakup through song titles.

“Instead of picking meaningful songs with lyrics that expressed her doubts about the relationship, Titus just picked song titles that laid bare her intentions,” according to the Daily Dot.

Her sister, Erika, made the playlist public, according to BuzzFeed.

In total, the playlist read, "Do you … Still want to kiss me because I am kinda lovin’ someone else but we can still be friends."

Hall told BuzzFeed he wasn't heartbroken over the playlist, saying the two had only dated casually and it wasn’t a serious relationship.
