From inside the courtyards at Herod’s Temple to a bird’s-eye view of the city, a Virtual New Testament app shows ancient Jerusalem at the time of Jesus Christ.

There are “info dots” at different locations that share details about how it’s connected to the life of Jesus Christ.

The app was developed by a team of about three dozen people at Brigham Young University’s Virtual Scriptures Group and the publishing and services department of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, according to information from Taylor Halverson, co-founder and co-director of the group.
