TAYLORSVILLE — The city’s annual Taylorsville Dayzz will kick off Thursday, June 22, at Valley Regional Park, 5100 S. 2700 West.

The three-day event will begin with a carnival at 4 p.m., followed by a free performance by the Beatles tribute band Imagine and the Utah Symphony at 7 p.m. The evening will conclude with a showing of the live-action version of “Beauty and the Beast” at 9:30 p.m.

Friday’s festivities will include carnival rides at 4 p.m., a performance by the Taylorsville Orchestra at 6:30 p.m., a free Rock the ’80s concert at 8 p.m. and fireworks at 10 p.m.

Saturday’s events begin at 7 a.m. with a breakfast sponsored by the Lions Club, a 5K Fun Run, parade, entertainment, car show, carnival rides and pony rides. A free Celine Dion and Neil Diamond tribute concert will take place at 7:30 p.m., followed by fireworks at 10 p.m.
