Former Utah wide receiver Dres Anderson joined his third NFL team on Monday, signing with the Houston Texans just over a month after the Chicago Bears released him.

Anderson originally signed with the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent in 2015. He was released from the 49ers' practice squad midway through the 2016 season.

He subsequently signed on with Chicago's practice squad on Nov. 22, 2016, and signed a reserve/futures contract on Jan. 3 before being released by the Bears on May 1. He tried out for the Buffalo Bills last month.

Anderson has not played in an NFL regular-season game. He played in four preseason games last season for the 49ers, starting one, and had four catches for 64 yards, including a 30-yard touchdown against Denver.
