The Utah Jazz have officially signed forward Thabo Sefolosha, the team announced on Tuesday.

Sefolosha was the first player to agree to a deal with Utah after all-star Gordon Hayward announced his decision to join the Boston Celtics.

Last season, Sefolosha averaged 7.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.5 steals per game for the Atlanta Hawks.

Not known for his scoring, Sefolosha has carved out an 11-year NBA career with his defense. Utah had the third most efficient defense in the NBA in 2016-17.

The terms of Sefolosha's deal weren't disclosed by the Jazz, but his contract is reportedly for two years, $10.5 million.
