FARMINGTON — Salt Lake native Gipper Finau has received one of four sponsor exemptions to next week’s Web.com Tour's Utah Championship, which will be played at Oakridge Country Club.

The 26-year-old, who now lives in St. George, is the younger brother of PGA Tour regular Tony Finau and he has played in the Web.com Utah event three times previously.

He missed the cut in 2007 and 2015, but in 2006 as a 16-year-old amateur, he became the youngest player ever to make the cut in a Web.com Tour event.

The other exemptions are going to Brendan Todd, who won the 2008 Utah Championship and has one victory on the PGA Tour (2014 Byron Nelson), Frank Adams III and Wade Binfield.
