What was once a dream may have become a nightmare for some.
President Donald Trump announced earlier this month that he would end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, which allows children who are undocumented immigrants to stay in the country.
According to the Deseret News, many immigrants in Utah are worried that ending this program would leave them without homes or hope for a better future.
However, Attorney General Jeff Sessions responded to critics saying that the act was "an unconstitutional exercise of authority" that should be ended in order to maintain the rule of law in America.
But that wasn't the only potential nightmare this week for many Americans. Hurricane Irma also threatened the dreamy Florida coast, displacing many citizens and destroying some of their homes.
Shortly after the storm, local leaders from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Fort Myers circled their communities to assess the damage. In many areas, the power was out, cellphone service was down and trees had toppled over.
