Nearly two months after releasing an official statement regarding the proper name of the Church, President Russell M. Nelson revisited the “course correction” in his concluding address of the Sunday morning session of the October 2018 general conference.

Other leaders addressing the subject in recent general conferences include President Boyd K. Packer, President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, in April 2011; and then-Elder M. Russell Ballard of Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, now the quorum’s acting president, in October 2011 and April 2014.
