SALT LAKE CITY — “Fixer Upper” couple Chip and Joanna Gaines created a Christmas playlist on Spotify just in time for the holidays.
Playlist: The playlist includes classics as well as more modern versions of Christmas songs. It kicks off with “The Christmas Song” by Nat King Cole. But it also includes “The Man with the Bag” from She & Him.
Why: The couple, who filed the playlist under their company Magnolia’s name, put together the playlist to inspire listeners to create new memories this holiday season.

Traditions: A separate Gaines-related tradition made headlines Tuesday. Joanna Gaines wrote a blog post talking about how her family has a tradition of giving her children a new ornament for their tree every year.
- “Chip’s mom started a fun tradition when we first got married, where she would give all of us an ornament at Thanksgiving. I loved it so much that I started something similar. Every holiday season, I get Chip and the kids an ornament that goes along with a memory from that year. I write their name and the date on the bottom, so as they get older, each one of them has a little collection that’s all their own.”
