American Fork wide receiver Chase Roberts committed to the BYU Cougars clear back in June of 2017, but coming down the stretch before the beginning of this year's early signing period, there was some suspense that he might sign with the Utah Utes.
Roberts did, after all, take an official visit to Utah the weekend of Dec. 10.
In the end, Roberts signed with the Cougars on Wednesday, the first day of the early period.
