A group of deer observed the rules of the road this week, pausing at a stop sign during their journey across a street in Canada.
Reddit user Bronsta posted a video of a group of deer racing down a road in Fernie, British Columbia. The deer stop at a stop sign before they cross the road and continue their journey.
The video itself received 1,326 upvotes and 102 comments in three days.
BuzzFeed shared the video on in a report on Tuesday.
“Many of us have seen a deer caught in headlights, but how many have seen deer pause at a stop sign, look both ways and cross?” asked the Bashaw Star, a local news outlet in Canada.
The video received welcomed praises from Reddit commenters, according to the Star.
“Deer are smart enough to obey stop signs … now only if the drivers in my neighbourhood had the same skill,” wrote one commenter.
Another wrote, “That deer is a better driver than most people.”
