LAYTON — Dominion Energy this week began replacing a 24-inch gas main through parts of the city.
Crews began work on the gas main at Gentile Street at the I-15 bridge. The main will then head east to Fort Lane then south to Main Street. The project will extend down the southern portion of Main Street and end at the Layton/Kaysville boundary.
According to the city, the projected is anticipated to wrap up by June 8. Motorists should be aware traffic control devices will be in place on the roads for the duration of the project.
