Taylor Swift and Andrew Lloyd Webber collaborated to write a new song that will premiere in the upcoming “Cats” movie, according to People magazine.

Clips from the new song, “Beautiful Ghosts,” were shared in a featurette released by Universal Pictures on Thursday, People reported.

“I was so excited when @andrewlloydwebber asked me to write an original song with him for @catsmovie,” Swift wrote in an Instagram post sharing the featurette later on Thursday.

The video clip features Swift and Webber discussing the process of creating the new song, which will be performed by Francesca Hayward in the film, while a version recorded by Swift will play during the end credits, according to Entertainment Weekly.

In the video, Webber recalled playing the melody he had written for Swift, who began writing lyrics immediately. “You did it then and there,” Webber said to Swift in the featurette.

Swift discussed her process for writing the lyrics. Since the text of “Cats” is based on T.S. Eliot’s “Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats,” it was important to her that her lyrics reflect a similar feel.

“T.S. Eliot is such a specific type of writer and uses such specific language and imagery, so reading through his work and everything, I just really wanted to reflect that within,” Swift said in the featurette.

“You can’t write a modern lyric for ‘Cats,’ so if you can’t get T.S. Eliot, get T.S.,” she added, making a joking reference to her initials. “I’m here for you!”

Swift was already involved in the “Cats” remake, having been cast in the role of Bombalurina, the Deseret News reported.
