The 189th Semiannual General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints ended on somewhat of a cliffhanger.

President Russell M. Nelson said 2020 will be a bicentennial year for the church, with next year’s conference being “different” than any year before.

“General conference next April will be different from any previous conference,” he said.

Social media reacted to the news with questions and excitement for next conference.

But President Nelson’s talk also touched on edited temple recommend questions, which excited Twitter as well.

Others speakers received social media reaction, too.
