A good deal of the No. 7 Utah Utes’ success on the football field this season has been because of senior quarterback Tyler Huntley, and on Wednesday, he was named one of 16 semifinalists for the Davey O’Brien Award, given to the nation’s top signal-caller.
On the season, the 6-foot-1, 205-pound Florida native has completed 141 of 191 passes for 2,062 yards and 11 touchdowns with just one interception and has rushed 56 times for 235 yards with four touchdowns.
