2A PLAYOFFS

Beaver 52, Kanab 7 

The Beavers were absolutely dominant in the contest against the Cowboys. Beaver scored 42 first half points, led by Kaleb Barney, who rushed for three scores. Ryker Albrecht rushed for two additional scores, while EJ Allred, Tyson Bartlett and Jayton Jessup each added touchdown runs of their own.

Milford 55, North Sevier 24 

Milford’s consistent two touchdowns in every quarter led it to an easy win over North Sevier. Bryson Barnes scored two touchdowns through the air and on the ground as well as one off of an interception return.

Millard 35, Parowan 32 

The Eagles and Rams played a thriller with a spot in the semifinals of the 2A state tournament on the line. Millard managed to hold off Parowan for the victory. Eagles quarterback Brooks Myers threw two touchdown passes and rushed for another in the win.

Duchesne 28, Enterprise 12 

Kaleb Sanchez and Brock Adams each scored two touchdowns to lead Duchesne to the win over Enterprise. With the win, Duchesne advances to the semifinals of the 2A state tournament.

3A PLAYOFFS

North Sanpete 26, Juan Diego 9 

Powered by a 20-point first quarter, North Sanpete defeated Juan Diego. Jaxton LangschwagerPayton Clawson and Connor Jorgensen each rushed for touchdowns in the opening frame, while Jorgensen added a fourth quarter score for good measure.

Morgan 33, Manti 14 

After giving up an early first quarter touchdown, the Trojans rallied by scoring 31 unanswered points to keep their season alive for at least another week.

Juab 35, American Leadership 7 

Juab controlled possession with a dominant rushing attack and defensive performance. Cade Bowring lead the Juab rushers with two touchdowns.

Grantsville 42, Richfield 14 

Thanks in part to a 21-point third quarter, the Cowboys rolled to the win over Richfield. Grantsville quarterback Jackson Sandberg threw for five touchdowns, including a 92-yard pass to Ammon Bartley. Bartley finished with three touchdown receptions, while Taylor Wood and Noah Mouritsen each hauled in touchdowns of their own.

4A PLAYOFFS

Park City 20, Logan 0 

Park City’s defense didn’t allow a point as the Miners took care of business in their first playoff game. Dylan Bauer scored Park City’s first two touchdowns.

Snow Canyon 42, Desert Hills 31 

Despite trailing by 21 points at halftime, thanks in part to a 28-point second quarter by Desert Hills, Snow Canyon pulled out the victory. The Warriors outscored the Thunder 35-3 in the second half.

Green Canyon 28, Cedar City 21 

Thanks in part to three scores by quarterback Jacob Lundin, Green Canyon held off Cedar for the second round victory in the 4A state tournament. Lundin found Tanner Watson for a four-yard touchdown pass and also rushed for touchdowns of seven and one yard. Brennan Dean added a one-yard touchdown plunge to help the Wolves overcome strong outings from Cedar’s Jaron Garrett and Jack Cook.

Pine View 49, Bear River 7 

Macloud Crowton’s monster game (six passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown), led Pine View to the dominant win over Bear River to advance to the third round.

Sky View 62, Cedar Valley 0 

Mason Falslev caught three of Kason Carlsen’s five touchdown passes for the Bobcats, who defeated Cedar Valley in the second round of the playoffs. Sky View, the classification’s second seed, host a quarterfinal matchup next week against the Mountain View Bruins.

Mountain View 35, Tooele 14 

Powered by a 21-point first quarter, the Bruins took care of business against the Buffaloes. Duce Anderson threw for a pair of scores and rushed for another to lead the way for Mountain View.

Dixie 38, Ridgeline 7 

Reggie Graff ran for two touhdowns and added another two through the air as the Flyers took care of business in the second round of the state tournament. Dixie will be back at it again next week when it hosts its quarterfinal matchup.

Stansbury 28, Mountain Crest 24 

Trailing after a quarter, the Stallions rallied to defeat the Mustangs. Stansbury outscored Mountain Crest 28-17 through the final three quarters, propelled by three touchdown passes by quarterback Kru Huxford.

5A PLAYOFFS

Salem Hills 24, Bountiful 7 

Sam HughesJordan Ware and Reed Johnson each scored touchdowns and the Skyhawks took down the Braves. Hughes and Ware each rushed for scores, while Johnson returned an interception for a touchdown.

Olympus 49, Murray 7 

Olympus was dominant from start to finish in the win over Murray. Titans quarterback Frankie Goodson found Scotty Edwards for a pair of touchdown receptions, while Christian Peterson rushed for two touchdowns.

Orem 21, Brighton 6 

The Tigers tallied six sacks and three turnovers in the win. | Full story

Provo 44, Alta 16 

Provo seemed to be in scoring position nearly the whole game, as kicker Alex Myles-Mills went 3-for-3 on his field goal attempts and 5-for-5 on his extra point tries.

Timpview 21, Springville 14 

Timpview’s flawless second half led it to an upset win over the Red Devils. Sione Moa’s second touchdown tied the game just a minute into the third quarter and then Targhee Lambson scored in the fourth to win the game.

Farmington 30, Bonneville 0 

Farmington’s defense came to play, as it shut out Bonneville and the offense controlled the possession by effectively running the ball.

Lehi 21, Woods Cross 14 

The Pioneers edged the Wildcats for the 5A state tournament win. Lehi quarterback Creyton Cooper threw a touchdown pass to Charles Jacob, while Carsen Manookin and Mckay Wall rushed for additional touchdowns.

Wasatch 30, Highland 13 

The Wasps came up with five turnovers en route to the win. | Full story

6A PLAYOFFS

Corner Canyon 53, Westlake 21 

Austin Bell rumbled for five rushing touchdowns, ensuring the top-seeded Chargers maintain their championship aspirations.

Lone Peak 30, Skyridge 6 

The Knights blocked the first punt of the game out of the end zone for a safety, which set the tone for an excellent defensive performance in the win. | Full story

Kearns 31, Hunter 14 

Kearns rallied back from a halftime deficit to take down Hunter. Dakota Lynde’s three touchdown passes led the Cougars, who get to host a quarterfinal matchup after Skyridge got beat by Lone Peak.

Herriman 37, Jordan 19 

Powered by strong first and fourth quarters, the Mustangs took care of business against the Beetdiggers. Quarterback Jaxon James threw for a score and rushed for another to lead the way, while Kepu FifitaNgana Leakehe and Cole Williams scored additional touchdowns.

Bingham 36, Fremont 14 

The Miners made short work of the Silverwolves, jumping out to a commanding 29-0 first half lead before cruising to victory. Bingham quarterback Troy Mehn threw for a pair of touchdowns, while Preston Larson and Quinlan Maumau each added a pair of rushing scores.

Syracuse 27, Pleasant Grove 14 

Buoyed by the stellar play of quarterback Bridger Hamblin, the Titans took down the visiting Vikings. Hamblin threw for four touchdowns in the win, including a 71-yard strike to Sam Adams.

Maddux Madsen threw five touchdowns for the Cavemen as they beat the Royals in a shootout. | Full story

East 43, Layton 10 

Sione Angilau and Amini Amone (two touchdowns each) were stellar in the red zone for East, helping the Leopards defeat Layton.
