SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Jazz held an 18-point lead on the NBA-worst Golden State Warriors heading into the fourth quarter Friday night at Vivint Arena but had to hang on before ultimately winning 113-109.

Here are three takeaways from the game.

  • Up 90-72 after three quarters, the Jazz were outscored 37-22 in the fourth. That included runs of 9-0 and 9-2 for Golden State in the frame. In the final 6:52, the Warriors outscored the Jazz 24-11. Golden State got within two with 22.8 seconds to go before Utah made the necessary plays in the closing seconds to get the win.
  • Utah committed 21 turnovers on the night compared to just nine for Golden State. Seven of the Jazz’s giveaways came in the fourth quarter.
  • On the good end, Utah won the rebounding battle 48-37. Rudy Gobert dominated the glass, finishing with 19 rebounds, including five offensive.
