Mariah Carey started off the holiday season in the most fitting way — by setting three new world records for her festive hit, “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” according to USA Today.

The pop star was presented with an official certificate from Guinness World Records, as well as a copy of the 2020 book that her records will appear in, during her show at The Coliseum at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas on Saturday, USA Today reported.

“All I Want For Christmas Is You” set the record for the highest-charting holiday song by a solo artist on the Billboard Hot 100 list, according to Forbes. It also set the record for a Christmas song for the most weeks spent in the UK singles Top 10 list.

The track that was streamed the most on Spotify in 24 hours, with 10.8 million streams in December 2018.

Carey shared the good news with her fans on Instagram.

“Thank you so much Guinness World Records for honoring me with three records in the 2020 book!” Carey wrote on Instagram. “Michael from @guinnessworldrecords presented me with a certificate on stage, so naturally, I asked him to join us for the #AllIWantForChristmasIsYou finale!”

Carey’s two children, 8-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan, can be seen in her Instagram pictures joining her on the stage, according to Fox News.

The new records for “All I Want For Christmas Is You” come twenty-five years after the song’s release in 1994. Since its release, the song has earned over $60 million in royalties, according to a 2017 report from the Economist.
