Park City 14, Snow Canyon 10: Chase Johansen’s 7-yard touchdown run early in the third quarter proved to be the only points of the second half, and the deciding factor in a defensive battle. Park City’s dream of an undefeated season will progress to the semifinals next week when the Miners take on Pine View, who is coming off a thrilling win themselves.
Sky View 56, Mountain View 13: Mason Falslev scored two touchdowns early, helping the Bobcats grow a one-point lead to 15. His first score was a 62-yarder on the last play of the first half that swung momentum towards Sky View.

Pine View 43, Green Canyon 36:Pine View rallied back and stunned Green Canyon after a thrilling matchup. The Panthers first responded to a 14-point deficit in the first quarter with a defensive touchdown of their own. Iizaiah Moten returned an interception 90 yards for a score. They then found themselves down 14 again at the start of the final period. Enoch Takau, Moten and Macloud Crowton all found the end zone as a 21-0 finish gave Pine View the victory and a ticket to the semifinals. | Full story
Dixie 42, Stansbury 14: Dixie dominated throughout as Reggie Graff scored three touchdowns and led the Flyers to the semifinals for the second consecutive year. Kaiden Faumuina’s interception return for a touchdown was a big play in the game; he returned the pick 32 yards to extend Dixie’s lead.

Salem Hills 37, Wasatch 0:Salem Hills shut out the visiting Wasps, as the Skyhawks move on to a crucial semifinal matchup and continue their quest for their first state championship in program history. Jordan Ware led the Skyhawks as he ran for two touchdowns.

Orem 31, Olympus 28:Orem held off the the Titans’ comeback and earned a tough quarterfinal win. A 24-0 run in just over 12 minutes of play proved to be the difference-maker for the Tigers. It is their 11th straight playoff win as they continue their quest for a third straight championship. Four different players found the end zone for Orem. | Full story

Timpview 26, Provo 7:Timpview picked up its second consecutive road win of the playoffs by shutting down Provo’s offense for the second time this season. The Thunderbirds beat the Bulldogs back in August by a score of 13-7, and held them to just seven points again. Sione Moa’s two touchdowns proved to be crucial in the upset win. | Full story

Lehi 27, Farmington 21:The11th-seeded Pioneers rallied from an early 14-0 deficit, coming back to pick up their second straight road win. The defense scored back-to-back touchdowns to give the Pioneers a lead early in the third quarter. Lehi will now face 10th-seeded Timpview in the semifinals. | Full story

Corner Canyon 56, Syracuse 0:Corner Canyon’s 24th straight win sends them back to Rice-Eccles Stadium for the third straight year as the Chargers look to capture another state title. Cole Hagen led the way in the quarterfinals with four passing touchdowns and another two on the ground.

Lone Peak 37, Kearns 19:The Knights’ quick start helped them pick up their third straight win on the road in these playoffs. Nate Ritchie was all over the place as he finished with two touchdown runs, one made field goal and five made extra points. Lone Peak’s road doesn’t get any easier as they now match up with the Chargers of Corner Canyon.
American Fork 28, Herriman 14: Peyton Wilson hit Devin Downing for a 57-yard touchdown pass late in the first quarter to give the Cavemen a 14-point lead. American Fork would never look back as the Cavemen upset the Mustangs and move on to play East in the semifinals. | Full story
